Kostnica in Sedlice (Kostnice v Sedlci)
The most famous attraction of Kutná Hora is the mind-boggling chapel in the Cemetery Church of All Saints (Hřbitovní kostel Všech svatých). The interior of the crypt will not leave you indifferent as soon as you notice that the exquisitely carved candelabras, candlesticks, glasses, family crest, paintings and all the decorations are made of the same material — human bones. The fact that the remains of more than 40 thousand people were used to create such a decoration of the crypt gives you goosebumps.
Near the entrance to the Kostnica there are souvenir shops selling trinkets, pendants and trinkets made of bones (artificial, according to the sellers).

Sedlecký monastery with the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Sedlecký klášter s katedrálou Nanebevzetí Panny Marie)
The Sedlec Monastery was the first Czech monastery built by the Cistercian order. A century after the monastery was opened, in the middle of the 13th century, the largest silver ore deposits were found on its territory, which later became the key to the wealth and prosperity of the holy monastery. However, this did not save the monastery from ruin due to wars and debts of the Czech crown, and in the 19th century the building was taken over by a tobacco factory. The tradition has continued to this day, as Philip Morris International, one of the largest cigarette factories in the world, has settled in the monastery.
- Prices: adults — 50 CZK, children, students and pensioners — 30 CZK. There are discounts for parents with children, tour groups of 8 people or more: the ticket for adults costs CZK 40, for children — CZK 25.
- You can buy a ticket to visit two attractions at once — the Sedlec Monastery and the Kostnica, which is a stone’s throw away. In this case, the tickets will cost CZK 120 and CZK 80.
- Opening hours: November — February from 09:00 to 18:00 (on Sundays from 11:00 to 18:00), March — October from 09:00 to 17:00 (on Sundays from 11:00 to 17:00). Open every day except Christmas Eve, Good Friday and Holy Saturday.

St. Barbara’s Cathedral (Chrám svaté Barbory)
The church was built with money from the community of local ore miners, who fought for spiritual independence from the Sedlec monastery. In general, because of the huge deposits of silver ore and the wealth of the town, Kutná Hora was considered the second city in Bohemia after Prague. The temple in its size and luxury had to be not inferior to the most important cathedral in the country — St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. It is noteworthy that the architect of the Church of St. Barbara was the son of the creator of St. Vitus Cathedral.
Today it is the second most important and largest Gothic church in Bohemia, the most famous architectural monument in Kutná Hora and one of the most unusual Gothic churches in Europe.
- Price: for adults — 120 CZK (~ 5 €), for children aged 6 to 15 years — 50 CZK (~ 2 €), for students 15 — 26 years and for people aged 65 years and older — 90 CZK (~ 3.5 €).

Sculpture Gallery of the Jesuit College (Jezuitská vysoká škola)
The Jesuits did everything possible to ensure that the building of their order took its place of honor in Kutná Hora. A special place in the design of the area near the college was given to the wide street in front of it, which the proud order nicknamed «The Bridge» and decorated with a gallery of twelve sculptures in the manner of Prague’s Charles Bridge. The site offers a magnificent view of Kutná Hora, vineyards and the river, so it is a must-see.
Kutna Hora Wine Cellar (Vinne sklepy Kutna Hora)
Not much wine is produced in the Czech Republic, and Kutná Hora is one of the few wine-producing areas. The wine cellar offers guided tours and tastings of wines made from local grapes. The tastings are conducted in accordance with all the rules: the wine varieties, the rules of compatibility with snacks served here. After the tasting, you can also buy your favorite wine in the wine cellar store.
