Seville: how to get from the airport to the city center by public transport

Seville Airport is the second largest airport in Andalusia, after Málaga Airport. This small port is located 10 km from the city center and annually receives more than five million passengers from different countries.

Seville Airport(Aeropuerto de San Pablo, international airport code — SWQ) serves airplanes of 31 airlines. There is no direct connection with Russia, but many flights of low-cost carriers Vueling and Ryanair arrive here. Domestic flights to Seville from Barcelona or Valencia can cost 2 times cheaper than traveling by train.

City bus Airport — Seville

The cheapest and easiest way to get to the city is to take the special Línea EA city bus route.

At the airport, the bus stop is located in front of the main building, near the cab stand. The final stop is the Plaza de Armas bus station (la Plaza de Armas). The route makes several stops along the way, including at the train station. You can buy a ticket from the bus driver.

  • Travel time is 35 minutes and the traffic interval is 10—25 minutes.

Cab from Seville airport

If you are traveling with your family or with a lot of luggage, it is more convenient to use cab services. It takes half an hour to get to the center of Seville this way.

Cab fares depend on the destination and travel time. There are three types of fares from the airport:

  • Tariff 1 — 22,2 €. Valid Monday — Friday from 7:00 to 21:00.
  • Fare 2 — 24,75 €. Monday — Friday from 21:00 to 7:00, weekends from 00:00 to 24:00; December 24 and 31, during the Seville April Fair from 7:00 to 21:00.
  • Fare 3 — 30,93 €: During the Seville April Fair from 21:00 to 7:00.

The cab stand is located opposite the entrance to the airport terminal. To avoid wasting time calling and waiting for a cab, you can order one in advance on the airport’s website.
